Media consumption study

Media consumption, especially tv program and video selection, consumption, and storage in different types of households and different countries was the focus of this study.

  • This international user research was conducted by Adaptive Path (AP).
  • Savigny User Research carried out the study in Germany in collaboration with a researcher from AP.
  • In-home interviews and observations provided deep insights, e.g. into how people learn about tv programs and into how, where, when, and with whom they enjoy movies and why.
  • Picture cards allowed visualizing the multi-faceted media consumption habits along the way as well as reviewing and complementing the larger picture together with the participant at the end of each interview.
